Soli Pompeiopolis Ancient City

It was founded by Rhodesian colonists in the 700th century BC, 14 km southwest of Mersin. Located near the town of Mezitli, the ancient city, which bears the traces of many civilizations such as the Neolithic, Hellenistic and Roman periods, is also called Viranşehir due to its dilapidated state.
